klocate A KDE frontend for the locate command

It relies on a installed locate and a regular updated locatedb. This program comes with the S.u.S.E distribution and I guess with others too. It should be available on the popular Linux ftp sites.

To install klocate, just extract the tar.bz2 (you've guessed that) and type ./configure, than make. Do a make install to install it.

klocate works really simple : it takes your input you made in the text line and executes locate with that. The result is shown in the list below. Double clicking an item opens a kfm window with the file in it.
I just wrote it as I recognized that I open a kvt from time to time to issue a locate command.
