kccmp - kernel configuration comparison
kccmp is a simple tool for comparing two linux kernel ".config" files.
It has the following features:
1) Displays the configuration variables with different values. 2) Displays the configuration variables and values which are found in only one of the compared files.
- % kccmp /path/to/first/.config /path/to/second/.config
- % kccmp /usr/src/linux/.config /usr/src/linux/.config.old
kccmp depends on Qt 3.x. It uses qmake for generating a standard Makefile.
The standard build is as easy as:
To build with Qt 4 support uncomment the #DEFINES line in kccmp.pro. This will also require that you have libboost_regex. The Qt 4 build assumes that libboost_regex.a/so is in your compiler's library path and the Boost headers are in the include path.
