WHAT IS BMI?

BMI is a scale which medical doctors uses to diagnostic people as overweight or malnutritioned. Basically it gives your amount of fat in proportion to your length in numbers. The optimum BMI is approximatly 22.5 for men. Find out what yours is!

INSTALLATION

Plese refer to INSTALL for installation instructions.

REQUIREMENTS

All you need, apart from standard C/C++ libraries is Xdialog. Also make sure you have the 'dialog' command, if you want to use the console version (over ssh or telnet or similar), in your path, and that it supports --stdout. If it doesn't, the program will halt and tell you that you have entered an erroroneous choice. So it is not a bug, it's merely a matter of different software versions which I have no control over.

Xdialog may be obtained from the apt-archive or at http://www.chez.com/godefroy/#RELEASE

COPYING

bmi is released under the GNu GPL. For more info, refer to www.gnu.org.
Basically, it means that you can do pretty much whatever you like with the code, as long as you make it open source, and don't charge for it. And please, if you use any of my code, I'd be glad to hear about it, and obtain some credits!

Enjoy!
